The Hollywood Radio & Television Society has unveiled a new Associate membership arm geared towards industry professionals who have matriculated beyond the assistant and coordinator ranks. This level benefits members who exist in the gap between the group’s early career Junior HRTS members and senior-level executives.
Led by co-presidents Lauren Michal (NBC Entertainment) and Meredith Willis (Denver & Delilah Films), the associate level will offer the opportunity to build and develop networking with peers as well as have full access to HRTS member privileges.
“The Hollywood Radio & Television Society recognizes that events and activities, which will exclusively target rising executives, are key to advancing their education and success in the entertainment industry,” said Dave Ferrara, executive director of HRTS. “A newly created Associate Board,” he added, “will craft programming which will focus on knowledge and skills needed at the mid-level of our industry.”
