'Brockmire' EP Says No Comedy Is Off Limits When Directed At "Stupid Incompetent People In Power" - AMC Networks Summit
Tyrel Jackson Williams (Lab Rats) has landed a series regular role opposite Hank Azaria and Amanda Peet in IFC’s comedy series Brockmire. Based on a Funny Or Die short, Brockmire centers on a famed Major League Baseball announcer (Azaria) who suffers an embarrassing and very public meltdown on the air after discovering his beloved wife’s serial infidelity. A decade later, Jim Brockmire decides to reclaim his career and love life in a small town, calling minor league ball for the Morristown Frackers. Jackson will play Charles, a bright but nerdy youth, the “internet whiz kid” of Morristown. Charles has been hired as an intern/assistant for new team sportscaster, Jim Brockmire. He’s the guy who first tips the technologically illiterate Jim that he’s a legendary internet meme. Williams just finished shooting a supporting role in The Bachelors opposite JK Simmons, and previously was a series regular on Disney XD’s Lab Rats. He is repped by Seven Summits, Osbrink Agency and Hansen Jacobson Teller.
