In his new role, Blackman will provide overall creative vision and leadership for the Syfy and Chiller brands, executing advertising and promotional campaigns that support both networks’ content and series. Blackman will report to Jason Holzman, SVP Creative, Entertainment Networks at NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment.
In his previous role as SVP Creative Strategy, Multi-Platform Brand Creative at Nickelodeon, Blackman had oversight of all creative strategy and editorial for Nick’s multiplatform creative promotions team, including on-air promotions, cross-channel advertising, social and content marketing. Since 1997, Blackman has worked across numerous Viacom brands including Comedy Central, Nickelodeon, Nick Jr, Nicktoons and TeenNick.
