The long awaited team-up of DC Comic book superheros doesn’t come out until Nov. 17 next year, but today Ben Affleck aka Batman gave us a little treat and dropped the film’s logo on his Twitter handle. In addition to starring in Warner Bros.’ Justice League, Affleck serves as EP on Zack Snyder’s follow-up to Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice. Mike Fleming broke that news exclusively last month, in addition to Affleck’s taking the director’s chair for the reboot of Batman off a screenplay he’s penning with DC chief Geoff Johns. Batman v. Superman accumulated $872.7M worldwide and arrives, also in R-rated form, to DVD on July 19 and streaming on June 28. A handful of fanboy press were recently invited to the set of Justice League which stars Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Ray Fisher as Cyborg with BvS castmembers reprising their roles: Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luther and Amy Adams as Lois Lane. In addition to the title logo below, Warner Bros. released Justice League‘s logline to the press:
Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
A set photographer also released a look at the new Batmobile — a definite cousin to the ’80s model of the Tim Burton days.
