For those who just can’t let it go, more Frozen is on the way. Disney today unveiled Frozen Northern Lights, an original story featuring the toon feature’s five main characters — and a newbie named Little Rock — that will span a collection of books, animated shorts from Lego and new digital extensions.
Set to be published in July by Random House, Disney Frozen Northern Lights: Journey to the Lights follows Anna, Elsa, Olaf, Kristoff and Sven on an adventure to restore the glimmer of the Northern Lights. The novelization will lead a series of books and also animated shorts featuring the original voice cast that will air on Disney Channel. “Natural phenomenon meets cultural phenomenon in this all-new story,” said Andrew Sugerman, EVP of Disney Publishing Worldwide. “We’re excited to share this new adventure and offer fans great new ways to connect with their favorite characters thanks to a host of related books, digital games and activities.”
Said activities will include a Frozen-inspired Instagram account and updates to frozen.disney.com.
