The renewal will keep the Oprah Winfrey-created Dr. Oz — now in its seventh season — on the air across the country in major markets including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, Dallas, San Francisco, Washington DC, Houston, Phoenix, Minneapolis, Orlando, Charlotte and Austin.

Oz launched on Fox in 2009. Sony says the most recent, seventh season saw double-digit growth on many Fox-Owned stations across the country, including flagship WNYW in New York, where it is up +75% year-to-year and +28% sweep-to-sweep among Women 25-54.
