CBS finished No. 1 in the 18-49 demographic for the second time in the last four years. And, if you attended CBS’ upfront presentation last week, you’ve heard the one about CBS winning the season in overall audience for the eighth consecutive season and 13th time in 14 years, with an average of 10.9 million viewers. NBC is completing the traditional primetime season having launched five of the season’s top 10 new series in adults 18-49, to CBS’ three, and ABC and Fox’s one each:

With a 2.2, CBS’ Limitless was the highest-rated series in 18-49s — new or returning — to be canceled.
CBS landed six of the season’s new top 10 series in total viewers; NBC had the other 4. That said, only three of CBS’ six are returning to the network next season; Supergirl is migrating to CW; Limitless and Angel From Hell are kaput:

CBS’ The Good Wife (10.9M viewers) was the most-watched broadcast series to end its run for the season, followed by freshman Limitless (9.8M).
NBC’s Sunday Night Football was the most watched (21.4 million viewers) and highest rated (7.5 18-49 rating) program last season, followed by CBS’ The Big Bang Theory (20.4 million) and Fox’s Empire (6.4 18-49 rating), respectively
