Literary/talent manager George Heller has joined Brillstein Entertainment Partners.
For the past five years, Heller led the Los Angeles management operations of Denis Leary and Jim Serpico’s Apostle. Before that, he was a manager at Principato-Young.
Heller will bring all of his clients with him to BEP. The list includes Randall Green (Scooby Doo), Seth Owen (Peepers), Adam Perlman (The Good Wife, Billions), Johnny Rosenthal (Bad Santa 2), Rebecca Drysdale (Key & Peele, Baskets), Angus MacLachlan (Junebug), Jamie Denbo (Ronna & Beverly), Duncan Birmingham (Blunt Talk, Maron), Kate Powers (Rectify), Bill Purple (Fresh Off The Boat), Clay Jeter (Chef’s Table), and Richard Christy (The Howard Stern Show).
Heller is an executive producer on the upcoming 20th Century Fox feature Morgan starring Paul Giamatti and Kate Mara. The script by Heller’s client Seth Owen was on the 2014 Black List.
Heller has family ties with BEP — his father, Steven, grew up on the same New York City block as company founder, Bernie Brillstein, and they attended the Joan of Arc public school in Manhattan’s Upper West Side together in the 1940s.
“I’m thrilled to be reunited with old friends and colleagues at Brillstein,” Heller said. “I have long admired the company and I’m excited to have people with such extensive experience and resources by my side.”
