PREVIOUSLY, April 1: Here is our first look at Feed the Beast, AMC’s upcoming drama series starring David Schwimmer and Jim Sturgess as best friends who take one last shot at their dream of opening a restaurant. Not much is revealed in the multi-second teaser, but the cable net did say today that the 10-episode series will premiere at 10 PM Tuesday, May 31.
The show follows Tommy Moran (Schwimmer) and Dion Patras (Sturgess) struggle to launch their eatery, push each other, welcome love into their lives and overcome their demons. They also betray, backstab, manipulate and coerce each other into the most dangerous situations imaginable. It’s “the kind of provocative, premium quality series that has become a Lionsgate trademark,” Kevin Beggs, whose Lionsgate Television division also produced AMC’s signature drama series Mad Men, said earlier this year about Feed The Beast
The show is executive produced by Clyde Phillips, Bankerot’s Henrik Ruben Genz and Malene Blenkov as well as Piv Bernth.
