Description of new original series and acquired series are below:
NEW ORIGINAL SERIES
FINDING FIDO
In each episode of Finding Fido, canine expert Seth Casteel helps an enthusiastic dog owner-to-be find the perfect companion for his or her lifestyle. Whether a sociable dog that can help owners overcome shyness, an active dog that encourages exercise, or even a dog that can help detect the onset of an owner’s epileptic seizure, Casteel matches each participant’s specialized needs and criteria to his or her new best friend. Finding Fido is produced by 3 Ball Entertainment with Todd A. Nelson, Ross Weintraub and DJ Nurre executive producing. Tim Krubsack also serves as executive producer.
ALTAR’D
Their wedding day may be approaching fast, but these overweight couples are determined to make one big change – lose weight – before walking down the aisle. Twelve weeks before their nuptials, the future bride and groom are paired with trainers and begin their transformation. But of course, there’s a twist that no one will see coming! Altar’d is produced by Bodega Pictures with Joshua Ackerman, Benjamin Nurick, and Zachary Werner executive producing. Tim Krubsack serves as executive producer on behalf of Z Living.
THE BIG FAT TRUTH
From 3 Ball Entertainment and JD Roth, one of the industry’s most experienced executive producers of transformation programming (including ABC’s Extreme Weight Loss and NBC’s The Biggest Loser) comes The Big Fat Truth, based on Roth’s recently released book of the same name. Going in front of the camera, Roth serves as host and mentor of this inspirational series, posing challenges to groups of overweight participants and providing the tools they need to accomplish their goals. Whether it’s a church congregation, truckers at a truck stop, nurses at a hospital or cattle farmers on a ranch, Roth shows the group how to change their lives and gain the reward of a healthier lifestyle. The Big Fat Truth is produced by 3 Ball Entertainment, with JD Roth, Todd A. Nelson, Ross Weintraub, and DJ Nurre executive producing. Tim Krubsack is executive producer for Z Living.
YOGA GIRLS
Yoga has found a new “mecca” on the West Side of Los Angeles, where the beautiful and the famous co-exist. Here, the hottest yoga instructors are in constant competition to attract clients and gain the most recognition as they build their respective brands. This docu-soap follows two groups – one driven by self-promotion in the new world of social media, the other the die-hard yoga traditionalists – each one determined to succeed and do whatever it takes. Yoga Girls is produced by The Ebersol Lanigan Company with Charlie Ebersol and Ross Breitenbach executive producing. Tim Krubsack serves as executive producer on behalf of Z Living.
