Jason Kurtz has joined Harry Connick Jr.’s new daytime variety show Harry from NBCUniversal Domestic TV Distribution as executive producer. The show has been sold in 99% of the U.S. to date for its debut in national broadcast syndication on September 12.
Kurtz joins Justin Stangel and Eric Stangel as executive producers of Harry along with Harry Connick, Jr. and Ann Marie Wilkins. Previously, Kurtz served as an executive producer of the Harry pilot, and most recently, since its launch, the co-executive producer for NBCUniversal’s, Steve Harvey.
With Connick Jr. as host, Harry will include comedic segments, man-on-the-street interviews, live musical performances, parodies, and audience participation, along with a live in-house band. The show, produced and distributed by NBCUniversal Domestic TV Distribution, has been sold to station groups including Fox Television Stations Sinclair, Hearst, NBC Owned Stations, CBS, Scripps, Media General, Hubbard, Cox, Nexstar, Gray, Bonten, Raycom, Dispatch, Quincy, and Tribune.
