EXCLUSIVE: Working Title has acquired film rights to Delia Ephron’s upcoming novel Siracusa. Ephron will adapt and Me and Earl and the Dying Girl helmer Alfonso Gomez-Rejon will direct. Working Title’s Eric Fellner, Tim Bevan and Liza Chasin will produce, and Ephron will be exec producer. The novel will be the lead title for the Penguin Books imprint Blue Rider Press in July. Siracusa follows a marriage and the deceit involved as two couples and a child head for vacation in the sun-drenched coast of the Ionian Sea in Italy.

The director is shooting Citizen, a series pilot for Hulu that he co-created.
