Lenny Venito (The Neighbors) and Gary Valentine (The King of Queens) are set as series regulars opposite Kevin James in his untitled multi-camera comedy series at CBS.
The untitled show, from Sony Pictures TV, James’ studio-based Hey Eddie Productions and CBS TV Studios, centers on Kevin (James), a newly retired police officer who looks forward to spending more quality time with his wife and three kids — only to discover he faces much tougher challenges at home than he ever did on the streets.
Venito will play Duffy, Kevin’s oldest buddy who has a great sense of humor and two ex-wives. Valentine is Kyle, Kevin’s brother who is a fireman and not taken seriously by Kevin and his cop buddies.
Venito starred as Marty Weaver for two seasons on ABC’s The Neighbors and next will be seen in Sony’s Money Monster. He’s repped by Abrams Artists Agency, ATA Management and Hanson Jacobson. WME-repped Valentine is known for his role as Danny Hefferman on long-running CBS comedy The King of Queens, and he recently recurred on Fargo.
