Grammy-winning superstars and previous American Idol winners Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood are coming back to where it all began for them. They’ll both perform live on Thursday, April 7, the final night of a three-night series finale for the long-running Fox singing competition.
The Grand Finale week kicks off Tuesday April 5 at 8 PM with a 90-minute retrospective, American Idol: American Dream, featuring host Ryan Seacrest, current and former judges, former Idols and contestants and the behind-the-scenes team sharing their personal Idol memories. The following night, Wednesday April 6, the remaining finalists will battle it out live from Dolby Theatre at 8 PM live ET/tape-delayed PT. It all comes to an end beginning at 8 PM Thursday, April 7, with performances by Clarkson and Underwood and other surprise appearances and the crowning of the Season 15 winner.
