Ben Vereen has joined the cast of Fox’s TV remake of The Rocky Horror Picture Show, which will air in the fall. He’ll play Dr. Everett Scott, played by Jonathan Adams in 20th Century Fox’s 1975 cult classic. Scott is the uber intelligent, ex-science teacher who’s now working for the Bureau of Investigation looking into UFOs. He ends up at the castle while searching for his nephew, Eddie. On the film side, Vereen most recently appeared in Top Five. His TV credits include How I Met Your Mother and Hot In Cleveland. He won a Tony Award for Pippin.
Veronica Diaz has booked a recurring role on the upcoming second season of AMC’s Fear The Walking Dead. She’ll play Vanessa, described as smart and deceptive, with a look of innocence, someone who throws herself into her work with reckless abandon. The Walking Dead companion series focuses on new characters and storylines. Diaz appears in the indie features Taco Shop and Mamitas, and most recently booked a supporting role in Behold My Heart, opposite Marisa Tomei, Timothy Olyphant and Mireille Enos. Her other TV credits include recurring on Complications and guest spots on Cold Case, The Hustle, Criminals Minds and Code Black pilot. She’s repped by Generate.
