Reality TV executive Brian Flanagan (Long Island Medium) and sports, film, and branded content producers, Michael and Anthony Amoia (Vidiots) are teaming to launch new full-service production house Switchblade Entertainment.
The outfit will develop and produce non-scripted television, documentaries, sports programs, and online and offline commercial content – with a focus on cable, digital and mobile. The entertainment group, which will operate out of a 20,000 square foot 360-degree production facility in New York City, aims to become a destination hub by which television, digital content, film, and advertising content can all be created, edited and distributed under one roof, according to the founders.
Flanagan, who will work alongside Michael Amoia in development, creative, and sales, has executive-produced over 40 non-scripted TV shows, including Long Island Medium, Moonshiners, and Beach Front Bargain. As the result of the new partnership, Vidiots will slowly fold into the Switchblade banner within the coming months.
