LisaGay Hamilton (House Of Cards) and The Carrie Diaries‘ alumna Stefania LaVie Owen are set as series regulars opposite Hugh Laurie on Hulu’s drama series Chance, from Fox 21 TV Studios. Based on Kem Nunn’s 2014 novel, Chance is described as a provocative psychological thriller that focuses on Eldon Chance (Laurie), a San Francisco-based forensic neuropsychiatrist who reluctantly gets sucked into a violent and dangerous world of mistaken identity, police corruption and mental illness. Hamilton will play Suzanne Silver, a psychologist practicing in Berkeley who is Chance’s close friend since their teaching days at UCSF. Gay, direct and fiercely intelligent and perceptive, she is very concerned about Chance and the surreal events unfolding around him. Owen, repped by Paradigm Talent Agency, is Nicole, Chance’s daughter, unhappy about her parents’ divorce, confused and vulnerable to outside influences.
Hamilton’s credits include a starring role in John Sayles’ SXSW feature Go For Sisters. She also starred on ABC’s The Practice and TNT’s Men of a Certain Age, and she currently recurs on Netflix’s House of Cards. She is repped by APA and Greenlight Management. Owen is known for her role as Dorrit Bradshaw on The Carrie Diaries. She also appeared in features Krampus and The Lovely Bones.
