Bill Milner (X-Men: First Class, Son of Rambow) and Maisie Williams (Game of Thrones, The Falling) are set to star in iBoy, a thriller from XYZ Films and Wigwam Films and Pretty Pictures. Miranda Richardson (Rita Skeeter in two Harry Potter films) and Rory Kinnear (Spectre, The Imitation Game) co-star. Milner plays Tom, whose average teenage existence is turned on its head when a violent encounter with local thugs leaves fragments of his shattered smartphone embedded in his brain. He wakes from a coma to discover that returning to normal teenage life is impossible because he has developed a strange set of superpowers. He sets out to seek revenge on the gang, who also assaulted his best friend Lucy (Williams). Adam Randall directed the pic from Joe Barton’s script, based on Kevin Brooks’ novel. Ennis Esmer (Red Oaks) has joined the cast of EuropaCorp’s Miss Sloane, a behind-the-scenes look at lobbying in Washington D.C. starring Jessica Chastain and directed by John Madden. Chastain plays a top lobbyist who decides to take on the challenge of pushing through tighter legislation for the nation’s gun laws. She soon comes to find that the gun lobby is as ruthless as she is. The cast also includes Mark Strong, Michael Stuhlbarg, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, John Lithgow, Sam Waterston, Alison Pill and Jake Lacy. Esmer is a regular on Amazon’s country club comedy Red Oaks and recurred on the CTV/CW series The L.A. Complex. He is repped by the Characters Talent Agency and Berwick & Kovacik.
