George Miller’s Max Max: Fury Road won Best Film and Director of the Year at the London Film Critics’ Circle Awards, while Andrew Haigh’s 45 Years took home the best British/Irish film of the year along with Best Actor and Actress of the Year for Tom Courtenay and Charlotte Rampling. Tom Hardy took the award for Best British/Irish Actor of the Year for his work in Mad Max, Legend, The Revenant and London Road. Kenneth Branagh was presented with the Dilys Powell Award for Career Achievement by Dame Judi Dench.
