CAA has hired lit agent Mollie Glick who joined the company this week in the Books department. Glick will be based in New York and will help bolster the agency’s ability to offer ever more resources and opportunities to clients in the publishing space. She comes to CAA from Foundry Literary + Media, where she worked for the past eight years and repped authors Jonathan Evison (West Of Here), Carol Rifka Brunt (Tell The Wolves I’m Home), Sarah McCoy (The Baker’s Daughter) and Ali Benjamin (The Thing About Jellyfish) and poet Patricia Lockwood. All are coming with her.
Glick joins on the heels of the CAA department’s most successful year to date with client books on the New York Times Best Sellers list including Jimmy Fallon’s Your Baby’s First Word Will Be Dada, Tyler Oakley’s Binge, Drew Barrymore’s Wildflower, Ohio State coach Urban Meyer’s Above The Line, Whoopi Goldberg’s If Someone Says “You Complete Me” Run!, Mamrie Hart’s You Deserve A Drink and Brian Grazer’s A Curious Mind among others.
