AMC said at TCA today that Season 2 of its Walking Dead spinoff will premiere at 9 PM Sunday, April 10. The 15-episode sophomore session of Fear The Walking Dead will be split into two parts, with the final eight airing in the fall. It also unveiled the first photo from Season 2 (right). The cable net also said that Talking Dead, the Walking Dead postshow series that launched in 2011, also will run after Fear The Walking Dead this season.
Deadline’s Nellie Andreeva reported Thursday that AMC was picking up drama The Son to series, and the cable net confirmed that today. And AMC also said that Broke — its take on the Danish drama Bankerot that got a straight-to-series order in June — has been retitled Feed The Beast and will launch production next month in New York. Its 10 hourlong episodes will premiere in May.

Also today in Pasadena, AMC said its six-part miniseries The Night Manager starring Tom Hiddleston and Olivia Colman — the first TV adaptation of a John le Carré novel in more than 20 years — will kick off a new night of original programming on Tuesday, April 19. And Season 3 of its Revolutionary War drama Turn: Washington’s Spies will premiere April 25.
