EXCLUSIVE: There’s going to be more Dinner on Adult Swim in 2016. “We shot a new one that’s airing later this year,” Brett Gelman told me today at the Sundance Film Festival. “It’s called Brett Gelman’s Dinner in America and deals with the issue of race.”

Adult Swim logo 1The new Dinner will feature new dinnermates from Dinner with Family with Brett Gelman and Brett Gelman’s Family, which aired on February 13, 2015. While no official word yet on who those dinnermates will be, I hear that you’ll be seeing some well-known Big 4 primetime faces. Like he did for the 2014 and 2015 installments, Jason Woliner is co-writing and directing the latest Dinner. The half-hour show is produced by Abso Lutely Productions.

Gelman is in Park City for last night’s Midnight showing of the 2015 version of the sitdown party that goes horribly wrong, as well the Jeff Baena-directed Joshy. That film also stars Silicon Valley‘s Thomas Middleditch, Adam Pally, Alex Ross Perry, Nick Kroll and Jenny Slate, and debuts Sunday at the Library Center Theatre.
