Amazon’s Emmy-winning hit series Transparent returns December 11 for a second season, and to get you ready, here’s the official Season 2 trailer. The season kicks off with a big wedding for Sarah and Tammy and will examine how Sarah gets in touch with her deeper desires. Meanwhile, newly-out Maura faces tough personal decisions as she learns the hardest part of her transition lies ahead. Josh and Rabbi Raquel navigate their new relationship with the complexity of being an instant family for Josh’s son Colton, while Ali moves into her future while forging a new connection with Syd and a feminist mentor.
Transparent stars Golden Globe and Emmy winner Jeffrey Tambor (Arrested Development) as Maura, Judith Light (The Exes) as Shelly, Amy Landecker (Louie) as Sarah, Jay Duplass (Togetherness) as Josh and Emmy-nominated Gaby Hoffmann (Girls) as Ali. The second season is executive produced by series creator Jill Soloway (Six Feet Under) and Andrea Sperling (Like Crazy).
