Paramount Pictures has set a March 4 release date for the Untitled Tina Fey comedy based on the autobiography of Kim Barker, an American reporter who navigated the male-dominated world of journalism in Afghanistan and Pakistan. Fey stars Barker — who was the Chicago Tribune’s South Asia bureau chief from 2004-09 — alongside with Margot Robbie and Martin Freeman in Robert Carlock’s adaptation of The Taliban Shuffle: Strange Days In Afghanistan And Pakistan from directors Glenn Ficarra and John Requa.
Alfred Molina, Nicholas Braun, Christopher Abbott, Sheila Vand, Stephen Peacocke, Evan Jonigkeit and Billy Bob Thornton co-star. Fey also is producing with Lorne Michaels and Ian Bryce.
The film will open opposite Gramercy’s action sequel London Has Fallen and Disney’s star-studded toon Zootopia.
