Patrick Massett & John Zinman Sign With WME

EXCLUSIVE: WME has signed writers-producer-showrunners Patrick Massett and John Zinman. The duo, currently under an overall deal at Sony Pictures TV, co-executive produced the first season of SPT’s The Blacklist and The Last Resort before that. Known for their work on the Friday Night Lights series and penning Lara Croft: Tomb Raider, their other credits include Caprica, The Chicago Code and The Finder. They previously were at CAA.

Massett and Zinman most recently penned the upcoming feature Gold starring Matthew McConaughey and Bryce Dallas Howard with Stephen Gaghan directing and Black Bear Picture’s Teddy Schwarzman producing. The Weinstein Company has the U.S. distribution rights and will release the film nationwide via their TWC-Dimension label.
