IFC Midnight has just acquired the North American rights to Nick Robertson’s feature film debut The Pack and it will be released next year in the spring. The film tells the story of a farmer and his family who must fight for their lives after a ferocious pack of feral wild dogs lays siege to their isolated farm. Through a series of frightening and bloody encounters they are forced into survival mode to defend themselves from the ravenous beasts and make it through the night.
IFC Midnight is a sister label to IFC Films and Sundance Selects, and is owned and operated by AMC Networks Inc.
The film was written by Evan Randall Green and stars Anna Lise Phillips, Jack Campbell and Kieran Thomas. A Kojo Pictures and Prodigy Movies production, The Pack was produced by Michael Robertson and Kent Smith and executive produced by Dale Roberts and Elliott D. Yancey. The film made its world premiere at the 2015 Fantasy Filmfest.
The deal was negotiated with worldwide sales representative and co-producer Lightning Entertainment on behalf of the filmmakers.
