George Sealey has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Alternative Programming and Development, NBC Entertainment, up from his current VP role.
“George has both a great appreciation for what viewers want to see and a terrific skill set in producing compelling television,” said Meredith Ahr, EVP, Alternative Programming, NBC Entertainment. “His dedication and leadership make every show he’s associated with better. His ability to be creative, collaborative and forward thinking make him a key member of our team as we evolve the genre forward.”
Sealey currently oversees series including The Celebrity Apprentice, Running Wild With Bear Grylls, and The Biggest Loser, as well as upcoming shows Better Late Than Never and Law & Order: You The Jury.
Sealey worked as a producer for eight seasons on The Apprentice as a freelancer before joining NBC as vice president in 2012. He also worked on Fashion Star as a producer and at the network.
