‘Famous In Love’ Drama Pilot Rounds Out Cast

Georgie Flores (CSI), Perrey Reeves (Entourage), Pepi Sonuga (Life Of A King) and Mark Valley (Human Target) have rounded out the cast of ABC Family drama pilot Famous In Love. The project, based on Rebecca Serle’s romantic novel, was written by Serle and I. Marlene King, executive producer/co-showrunner of ABC Family’s flagship drama series Pretty Little Liars.

Famous In Love centers on Paige (Bella Thorne), an ordinary college student who gets her big break after auditioning for the starring role in a Hollywood blockbuster. She must now navigate her new star-studded life and undeniable chemistry with her two co-leads while uncovering the truth about what happened to a famous missing pop star.

Flores will play Cassandra, Paige’s roommate and close friend, who is straightforward and a good friend. Reeves, Reeves, repped by APA, LINK, and Artists Financial Management, is Nina, Rainer’s smart and cunning mother, who is half of one of Hollywood’s most powerful couples. Confident and manipulative, she does whatever it takes to make sure things go her son’s way. Sonuga plays Tangey, a beautiful pop star who mysteriously disappeared from the public eye, and previously involved with both Rainer and Jordan. Valley will recur as Grant Devon, Rainer’s father, who is a major figure in Hollywood. In addition to Thorne, they join previously cast Carter Jenkins, Jesse Henderson, Keith Powers,and Niki Koss.

Miguel Arteta is set to direct the pilot, which he will executive produce alongside King and Dan Farah. Serle co-executive produces the drama from Warner Horizon Television.
