The Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History has added more than 10 artifacts from the AMC/Sony Pictures TV series Breaking Bad in recognition of the show’s influence on American culture.
The objects, added to the museum’s growing television collections, include iconic clothes worn by the main characters, Walter White and Jesse Pinkman, and memorable props, such as a bag of the blue meth that Walter and Jesse sell and cups from the fictional restaurant Los Pollos Hermanos. See the photo above of star Bryan Cranston in his Heisenberg Hat from today’s ceremony. Cranston was on hand along with co-stars Aaron Paul, Dean Norris, Jonathan Banks and RJ Mitte to present the artifacts along with series creator Vince Gilligan and executive producers Mark Johnson, Michelle MacLaren, Melissa Bernstein and Peter Gould.
