Building onto their collaboration on an event series about the 1906 San Francisco earthquake, Bob Cooper’s Landscape Entertainment has closed a first-look deal with TNT for limited and event series, sources say. Four-hour event series The 1906 San Francisco Earthquake, which has been in the works at TNT for a year, tells the story of one of the biggest natural disasters in U.S. history. It is written by James Solomon. Landscape is producing the project with Entertainment One Television, where the company had a first-look deal.
At TNT, the deal with Landscape was shepherded by Sarah Aubrey, who runs the network’s original programming. The network declined comment.
Landscape is repped by WME.
