The Baseball Hall of Famer said in August that he will return to the Dodgers booth for a 67th season next year, the longest tenure of any sports announcer with one team, but not having him calling the playoff games is the equivalent of a silver sombrero for fans. As Scully famously — and often — was quoted on Jim Healy’s old L.A. radio program, “I can’t believe it.”
