Digital ads are booming, so it’s no surprise that UTA wants someone experienced in the field to help it look for business.
David Anderson, who’ll be an executive in the Digital Media department, comes from the Los Angeles office of brand consultancy firm MediaLink, where his clients included Zynga, Conde Nast, Twitter, Jukin Media, Hulu and Funny or Die. Earlier he oversaw digital and branded entertainment at Reveille and Shine America.
Anderson’s “track record and relationships will be an important part of developing opportunities for clients in this space,” UTA chief Jeremy Zimmer says.
The agency’s clients include Delta Air Lines, LinkedIn, Barneys New York, and the Consumer Electronics Association.
UTA formed its Digital Media practice in 2003. It has 12 agents and executives.
