Imagine Hires Tyler Mitchell To Be Motion Pictures Senior Veep

Tyler Mitchell has joined Imagine Entertainment as SVP Motion Pictures. Imagine president Erica Huggins said that Mitchell “brings an extensive experience in successful filmmaking and producing to our team.” Mitchell has been in the development and producing trenches for a long time, most recently at Bob Cooper’s Landscape Entertainment, where he oversaw both film and television.

Mitchell is an executive producer on Landscape’s upcoming film Maudie, starring Ethan Hawke and Sally Hawkins, which begins production in September. Before that, he was VP and development head at FilmEngine and worked on The Butterfly Effect and The Rum Diary.

He has produced films that include The Incredible Burt Wonderstone, Lucky Number Slevin and The Angriest Man In Brooklyn. He also was a producer and writer on the NBC series Kidnapped and My Own Worst Enemy.
