Tracy Morgan ‘SNL’ Promos Feature Jokes About Memory Loss, Getting “Everyone In This Building Pregnant”

Tracy Morgan is returning to the Studio 8H stage this weekend as host of Saturday Night Live, and the promos are out. The comic, who is continuing his showbiz comeback after being severely injured in a 2014 truck crash, teams with SNL castmember Bobby Moynihan for five clips that tease this weekend’s show that also features musical guest Demi Lovato. The promo jokes range from Morgan’s hosting turn leading to Saturday’s episode being the season finale to the size of Morgan’s house to his plans to turn 30 Rockefeller Center into his own personal maternity ward.

The comic actor made a surprise appearance at the Emmy Awards last month, which marked his return to TV for the first time since he suffered a brain injury in a traffic accident that killed his friend, comic James “Jimmy Mack” McNair. “Only recently have I started to feel like myself again,” Morgan said at the Emmys, “Which means a whole lot of women are going to get pregnant at the afterparty.” OK, so one of these promos recycles a joke — big deal, it will be great to have Morgan back on the SNL stage this weekend.
