Route One & Lost City Hone Funding For ‘The Shave’, Will Produce With Maiden Voyage

Route One Entertainment and Lost City have come aboard to produce and finance The Shave with producers Chris and Eleanor Columbus’ Maiden Voyage. Based on a script by Thomas White and Miles Hubley, the thriller centers on an LAPD officer who recently was exonerated in the murder of a high school honor student. He visits the boy’s father at his barbershop to tell him his side of the story — while receiving a straight-razor shave.

The project will be produced by Chris Columbus and Eleanor Columbus, Route One’s CEO Russell Levine, Lost City’s John Finemore and Mason Novick and MXN Entertainment’s Michelle Knudsen. It marks LA-based Route One’s second collaboration with Maiden Voyage following Sian Heder’s upcoming Tallulah starring Ellen Page and Allison Janney.
