Veteran agent Seth Lawrence is joining Brett Hansen in UTA’s Alternative Television department, where he will focus on representing non-scripted showrunners, producers, directors, and production companies as well as on-camera talent.
Lawrence comes to UTA after 13 years as an agent in the Alternative Television department of Rebel Entertainment Partners, where he was most recently Senior Vice President and helped to manage a department of eight agents.
“Seth is a great agent with a keen instinct for talent in all forms, and we know he will be a great addition to our Alternative TV team,” said UTA partner and Alternative TV head Hansen in making the announcement.
At Rebel, Lawrence packaged or co-packaged such series as Bravo’s Untying The Knot, which premieres its second season November 8; Animal Planet’s new series The Last Alaskans; and My Child Sees Dead People on Destination America.
