ABC is developing The Hustle (working title), a single-camera comedy executive produced by Sean Combs and directed by Jeremy Garelick (The Wedding Ringer).
Inspired by the real-life events of Combs’ right-hand woman, his assistant Sarah Snedeker, The Hustle centers on a small-town girl who lands a job working as an assistant to a street-educated billionaire business mogul where she is instantly thrown into a foreign world of extravagance, debauchery and adventure.
Written/executive produced by Stacey Harman (The Goldbergs), The Hustle has received a script commitment with penalty. Snedeker will serve as a producer and consultant.
At ABC, Combs previously executive produced and starred in the TV movie A Raisin in the Sun. He recently was a co-executive producer on the feature Dope.
