Ryan Seacrest Extends Deal With E!

Ryan Seacrest and E! are staying in business together.

The network has extended its deal with the Live From The Red Carpet host. There are no specifics but we hear the pact is for two more years, during which Seacrest will continue as host and executive producer of Live From The Red Carpet.

“With Ryan at the helm for close to ten years now, E!’s Live From the Red Carpet series has truly become a mainstay of the network and we are very happy to continue this partnership,” said Frances Berwick, President Lifestyle Networks, NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment.

Seacrest has served as host of E!’s Live From The Red Carpet since 2006 when the American Idol host inked his first three-year deal with the cable network. Most recently, the 2015 Emmy Awards Live! hosted by Seacrest and Giuliana Rancic, pulled in 1.1M total viewers and 546,000 P18-49, up 7% and up 24% vs the 2014 Emmys awards in Live + Same Day.

E!’s Live From the Red Carpet is produced by Ryan Seacrest Productions and Wilshire Studios. Ryan Seacrest, Gary Snegaroff, Eddie Delbridge, and Gerry Johnston serve as executive producers.

Earlier this year, NBC Olympics announced that Seacrest will serve as host for NBC’s late night coverage of the 2016 Rio Olympic Games. Seacrest also is wrapping his 15-year run as host of American Idol on Fox and is host and executive producer of ABC’s annual Dick Clark’s Rockin’ Eve With Ryan Seacrest. On radio, Seacrest is host of On Air With Ryan Seacrest, his No.1 nationally syndicated LA morning drive-time show for iHeartMedia’s 102.7 KIIS-FM, as well as the nationally-syndicated On Air with Ryan Seacrest, American Top 40 with Ryan Seacrest, and the weekday vignette Direct from Hollywood.
