Mickey Mouse, Bugs Bunny, Homer and Bart Simpson and Donald Duck are among 40 classic animated characters to be honored in TV’s Funniest Animated Stars: A Paley Center For Media Special. The two-hour special will air Monday, December 7 at 8 PM on Fox.
The special will include a countdown of animated stars featuring exclusive interviews with the creators who conceived the characters and the actors who brought them to life. Talent interviewed during the special include Pamela Adlon (voice of Bobby Hill), Tony Anselmo (voice of Donald Duck), Todd Barbee (voice of Charlie Brown), H. Jon Benjamin (voice of Bob Belcher and Sterling Archer), Alex Borstein (voice of Lois Griffin), Nancy Cartwright (voice of Bart Simpson), John DiMaggio (voice of Bender), Seth Green (voice of Chris Griffin and The Nerd), Mike Henry (voice of Cleveland Brown), Mike Judge (voice of Hank Hill, Beavis and Butt-Head), Tom Kenny (voice of SpongeBob SquarePants) and Yeardley Smith (voice of Lisa Simpson).
TV’s Funniest Animated Stars: A Paley Center For Media Special will be executive-produced by Brad Lachman, Paley Center President and CEO Maureen J. Reidy and Paley Center EVP of Programming Diane Lewis. Bill Bracken will serve as supervising producer and Jon Macks will serve as producer.
