Cohen Films Acquires Merchant Ivory Library

Cohen Media Group acquired the 30 titles that constitute many of the prestige films generated by Merchant Ivory Productions partners Ismail Merchant and director James Ivory. There are 21 features, nine documentaries and shorts and Charles S. Cohen pans to restore and rerelease them as part of the Cohen Film Collection. Merchant died in 2005. Among the films in the library are Howards End, Maurice, Shakespeare Wallah and Heat and Dust. Here is the inventory:
