Magnolia Pictures Ups Pair In International Sales – AFM

EXCLUSIVE: Magnolia Pictures has promoted Scott Veltri to VP International Sales and Robert Maylor to Director, International Sales. They had been serving as international sales director and manager, respectively. The move comes ahead of the annual American Film Market which kicks off November 4 in Santa Monica.

Veltri joined Magnolia Pictures/Magnet Releasing in 2010 and held positions in marketing and acquisitions before moving to international sales. His recent deals including being part of the negotiations for Sundance Grand Jury winning docu The Wolfpack, the iPhone-shot Tangerine, Best Of Enemies from Morgan Neville and Andrew Bujalski’s Results starring Guy Pearce and Cobie Smulders. Maylor joined Magnolia/Magnet in 2013.

Magnolia’s sales titles at AFM include the sci-fi pic Synchronicity.
