Hillary Clinton came in second last night to Drew Barrymore and a new Jimmy Fallon theme park ride.
In Nielsen’s 56 metered markets, the Dem frontrunner’s visit to CBS’s The Late Show With Stephen Colbert clocked a household 2.5/6 in the metered markets. According to these preliminary stats, that puts her behind NBC’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon (2.7/7), which featured Barrymore, and Fallon’s announcement his NBCU bosses would create a Jimmy Fallon ride for its Universal theme park, in 2017. ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live clocked 1.6/4.
Ditto the demo: Colbert/Clinton logged a 0.6/3, behind Fallon’s 0.9/4, though ahead of Kimmel’s 0.5/2 in the 25 markets with Local People Meters.
Back in September, the same night the GOP debate clocked record numbers for CNN, Clinton visited Fallon and clocked a much bigger 3.2 rating – Tonight Show’s best metered-market household rating for a Wednesday in seven months. With Clinton on board, as well as Dakota Johnson and musical guest Fetty Wap, Fallon (3.2/8) trounced Colbert’s 2.2/6 and Kimmel’s 1.6/4.

That night, in the 25 markets with Local People Meters, Clinton/Fallon logged a demo rating of 1.1/6 to Colbert’s 0.7/3 and Kimmel’s 0.5/3.
