UPDATED: The Borgias‘ alum Francois Arnaud has booked a recurring role on NBC’s thriller drama series Blindspot, which just received a full-season order by NBC. Written by Martin Gero and directed by Mark Pellington, Blindspot centers on a mysterious Jane Doe (Jaime Alexander) who is found in a body bag in NYC’s Times Square with tattoos all over her body, including the address of the FBI agent Kurt Weller (Sullivan Stapleton) who found her. Arnaud will play a mysterious character from Jane’s distant past. Arnaud, who played Cesare Borgia in Showtime’s The Borgias, stars in feature Rabid Dogs opposite Lambert Wilson, and the upcoming The Girl King opposite Sarah Gadon. Other feature credits include Les Grandes Des Chaleur (Heat Waves), Xavier Dolan’s I Killed My Mother, Copperhead, Moroccan Gigolos and Amapola. He is repped by APA and Lasher Group.
LisaGay Hamilton (House Of Cards) has landed a series regular role in the USA Network and Universal Cable Prods’ pilot The Wilding. Set in suburban North Carolina, The Wilding centers around the Hayes family — a typical, loving blended family seeking a fresh start after their 17-year-old daughter, Kayla, is released from a mental health institution following ten years of treatment. Their ideals are quickly threatened, however, when Kayla’s apparitions of the dead begin to haunt them once again. Hamilton will play Dr. Emily Bergom, pharmaceutical researcher and mother of three who becomes desperate to assert her sanity when she begins to experience auditory hallucinations that place her family and career in jeopardy. Hamilton was a series regular and also directed an episode of David E. Kelley’s The Practice. Her other TV credits include Men Of A Certain Age and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. She’s repped by APA and Greenlight Management.
