Disney Channel has ordered teen music comedy series Bizaardvark (previously titled Paige And Frankie), starring newcomers Olivia Rodrigo and Madison Hu. Production begins early next year for a summer premiere.
Rodrigo and Hu star, respectively, as Paige and Frankie, quirky 13-year-old best friends who write funny songs and create music videos for their online channel, Bizaardvark. Marc Warren executive produced the pilot. Eric Friedman will serve as executive producer and showrunner. Co-creators Kyle Stegina and Josh Lehrman are co-executive producers.
