Maybe we’ll finally learn all the secrets of Twin Peaks: David Lynch will co-author a memoir called “Life & Work,” tentatively set for a 2017 release. The book, to be co-written with journalist Kristine McKenna, will be published in the U.S. by Grand Central Publishing.
Described as part memoir, part biography, “Life & Work” apparently will include sections written by Lynch, along with sections by McKenna, who has interviewed about 90 of Lynch’s associates, friends and family.
In a statement reported by The Guardian, Lynch said, “There’s a lot of bullsh** out there about me, in books and all over the Internet. I want to get all the right information in one place, so if someone wants to know something, they can find it here. And I wouldn’t do it with anyone other than Kristine; she and I go way back, and she gets it right.”
Ben Greenberg, exec editor of Grand Central Publishing, said in a statement that Lynch’s “approach to this book is as unique as I would have hoped it to be, and I am fascinated to see where it goes.”
