Logo Renews ‘Cocktails & Classics’, Sets ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race: Season 5 RuVealed’, More

Coming off the highest broadcast ratings in the network’s 10-year history, Logo has renewed Cocktails & Classics for a second season. Logo also will premiere RuPaul’s Drag Race: Season 5 RuVealed and Gen Silent, a documentary focusing on LGBT elders. They join Logo’s previously announced transgender-themed web series Beautiful As I Want To Be, hosted by transgender model and activist Geena Rocero, who also executive produces, set to premiere on October 28.

The second season of Cocktails & Classics will premiere Sunday, October 25 at 8 PM ET. Host Michael Urie returns with his industry friends to dish on classic films, including Mommie Dearest, Hedwig And The Angry Inch, and All About Eve. RuPaul looks back at the past season of RuPaul’s Drag Race in Season 5 RuVealed which premieres Sunday, November 8 at 7 PM ET. In addition, Logo Documentary Films premieres Gen Silent, a documentary focusing on older LGBT Americans who face discrimination in housing and health care.

2015 Programming

Cocktails & Classics – Premieres Sunday, October 25, 2015 at 8:00pm ET
The second season of “Cocktails & Classics” features host Michael Urie and a group of his industry insider friends serving up new twists on classic films. This season, Urie and guests will dish as they screen classic films including “Mommie Dearest,” “Hedwig and the Angry Inch,” and “All About Eve.” The series premieres in time for Halloween with a screening of “The Witches of Eastwick,” featuring behind-the-scenes stories from co-star Veronica Cartwright.

Beautiful As I Want To Be – Premiering Wednesday, October 28 on LogoTV.com
“Beautiful As I Want To Be” partners trans and gender non-conforming young people with successful trans leaders to explore how they define beauty and identity. In each episode, a trans young person shares their backstory, their identity journey, and their dreams for the future. They then star in a photo shoot where they can celebrate their authentic beauty. Each of the four episodes will be introduced by Geena Rocero, a transgender supermodel and founder of Gender Proud, who also serves as an Executive Producer on the series. The production featured a crew of almost all transgender entertainment professionals.

RuPaul’s Drag Race: Season 5 RuVealed – Premieres Sunday, November 8, 2015 at 7:00pm ET

Logo Documentary Films division shares powerful stories that capture LGBT life and culture in all its diversity. The division launched earlier this year with the critically-acclaimed films “Out in the Night,” “Matt Shepard is a Friend of Mine,” “Out & Around,” and “Versailles ’73: an American Runway Revolution.”
