Leftfield Entertainment founder and CEO Brent Montgomery is reportedly set to take over the role of head of ITV Studios U.S. Group. Montgomery, who is the creator and exec producer of global hit reality series Pawn Stars, would replace Paul Buccieri who exited as Chairman late last year to become President of A&E and History. ITV Studios America President Orly Adelson also left her job this summer. At the time, Deadline reported talks were in the works to replace Buccieri and have that person run day-to-day ops at ITV Studios America.
Montgomery’s exact job title is still to be confirmed, reports UK trade C21 which broke the news. An ITV spokesman declined to comment.
Montgomery would oversee ITV Studios America, as well as Gurney Productions (Duck Dynasty), High Noon Entertainment (Cake Boss), Thinkfactory Media (Hatfields & McCoys) and DiGa Vision (Teen Wolf). He is also tipped to retain oversight of New York-based Leftfield Entertainment which includes Leftfield Pictures (Pawn Stars), Sirens Media (Real Housewives Of New Jersey), Loud TV (Tiny House Nation), Riot Creative and Outpost Entertainment.
ITV acquired 80% of Leftfield for $360M in 2014.
