EXCLUSIVE: As of today, Verve has a fifth partner. Adam Weinstein, who guided the careers of writer-director Colin Trevorrow and scribe Derek Connolly from the 2012 indie Safety Not Guaranteed to Jurassic World — the biggest movie of all time not made by James Cameron — has been bumped up to the top rung at the agency. “We are thrilled and proud to welcome Adam Weinstein into the partnership of Verve,” the partners said in a statement, “Adam’s taste, passion and energy have helped fuel our culture and business and we are excited to make him an even bigger part of our team.”
Weinstein launched his career in 2002 at UTA, where he began as a talent agent trainee and quickly rose through the ranks. Prior to joining Verve in 2012, the Cornell grad worked at ICM for three years. “It’s a true privilege to not only love what you do but where you do it,” Weinstein said. “Verve is a special company, and I’m excited to be part of its future.”
