One of TV’s longest producing relationships, between John Wells and Andrew Stearn, has come to an end after 15 years. Stearn, who served as president of television of Warner Bros. TV-based John Wells Prods., will serve in the same capacity for Working Title US. He succeeds Gina Gerolamo, who departed in July after a brief stint as EVP and head of Working Title’s U.S. TV operation to return to Warner Bros. TV’s Alloy.

Like Girolamo, Stearn — the third executive in the job in the past year — will be based in Los Angeles and be responsible for overseeing the development and production of all new and existing projects for Working Title Television, a joint venture between NBCUniversal International and UK-based Working Title Films’ Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner. He will report to Bevan and Fellner as well as to U.S. president of production Liza Chasin.

It’s been a challenging first years for Working Title’s U.S. TV operation. The company has been part of one series, the short-lived comedy series About A Boy on sibling NBC, based on a Working Title movie. NBC also picked up its upcoming limited series You, Me And The End Of The World.

Stearn’s appointment was first reported by Variety.
