USA Network has hired Eric Lehrman as VP of Original Programming. He will develop scripted series and oversee production on USA scripted pilots, starting with recently ordered Brooklyn Animal Control. He will report to Alex Sepiol, SVP of Original Scripted Programming.
Lehrman comes from All3Media America, which he joined in 2013. There, Lehrman launched and ran a scripted division, developing U.S. versions of the group’s television formats and creating new content specifically for the U.S. market, including The Arrangement, which landed a pilot order at USA’s sister network E!, Impact at A&E, The Meatball Shop at CBS with Bill Lawrence’s Doozer, and The Village at Paramount TV with Robert Redford’s Sundance Productions.
All3Media America has undergone a top executive change, with Greg Lipstone recently taking the reins of the company as CEO and president Eli Holzman exiting. The All3Media America companies with scripted business will continue their individual efforts while Lipstone searches for a new head of scripted.
Prior to All3Media, Lehrman spent six years at J.J. Abrams’ Bad Robot where he helped oversee development and current programming for series including Revolution, Person Of Interest, Alcatraz and Fringe.
